Jewellery & Silversmithing classes
Classes at the studio are in small groups, in a relaxed and sociable environment.
All abilities are welcome and many of the students who come to my classes are beginners, have an interest in silversmithing, but have never tried their hand at it. The classes also attract those who have some experience of making in the past and want to refresh or expand their knowledge.
I usually start new comers off with a pendant project, this ensures we run through a variety of techniques, use a selection of tools and give students a real taste of jewellery making.
Vouchers are available for the classes, they make a great gift for a special occasion or for a birthday.

Create your own designs
Once we have worked through the initial project I encourage students to create whatever they would like. I don’t set strict projects, because the classes are small it enables me to facilitate the students with whatever project they would like to undertake next.
I teach morning and evening courses that run for either 5 or 6 weeks and one-day workshops on Saturday mornings, Silver clay workshops or private classes throughout the year. Do check out the classes and dates below, or use the link to send me a message.

Morning & Evening courses
My courses are usually 5 or 6 weeks throughout the year. During the Summer I have a short 3 week course, which is an ideal taster course, or for those who can’t commit to the longer courses. Please see dates below for current courses, or send me a message if you would be interested in a short course.
Course dates:
Tuesday : 24th February to 24th March, 10am to 12pm. £100 + materials. 5 week course
Wednesday : 25th February to 25th March, 10am to 12pm. £100 + materials. 5 week course
Evening course: Change to course, I now have my evening course on a Wednesday
Wednesday evening: 25th February to 25th March. 7pm to 9pm. £100 + materials. 5 week course

Create a gemstone or seaglass set ring

£85 per person (plus materials)
Create a sterling silver ring, with a handmade setting. This ring can be made for a treasured piece of found seaglass that you might have, or a smooth, non- faceted cabochon gemstone of your own.
If you don’t have your own glass or gemstone, fear not! I have many pieces a the studio that you can choose from, to create your piece of jewellery.

Private group workshops
Do get in touch if you would like to organise a group jewellery making class for Friends or family. A private group class is a fun way of spending a morning or afternoon being creative together!
Make a pendant, set of stacking rings, sea glass rings, earrings or bangles in sterling silver- ready to take home at the end of the class.
private workshops are held on Friday’s or Saturday’s and are a duration of 3.5 to 4hours for a minimum of 4 people: Morning or Afternoon sessions are available.
Prices range from £65 per person (plus materials) depending on what you would like to make. The price includes all materials and classes are for 4 to 8 people.
I do also arrange private workshops for 1-2 people. These are priced from £170 for the workshop.
