A service we have recently been able to offer is Jewellery & Silversmithing classes at beginner or intermediate level. The classes are taught by Louise in a small group of no more than 4 people, available on Tuesday or Thursday daytime in 3 hour sessions. Students are invited to book a 5 or 10 session block where after they can expect to have completed a piece of Jewellery to take home. Students can practise a range of techniques including soldering, piercing, reticulation, repousse’ and enamelling.
Louise currently teaches a part time silversmithing class at The Arts University College Bournemouth (previously the Arts Institute) and worked initially for 6 years at Bournemouth & Poole College teaching recreational, City & Guilds jewellery and Foundation Degree students.

After a block of sessions are booked single sessions can be added at £18 each. At least one weeks’ notice must be given for additional sessions to reserve a space in the class.
Make your own wedding rings
Brides & Grooms are also invited to come and make their own wedding bands in a relaxed atmosphere. A simple band can be made from start to final polish and ready for hallmarking. Dates and prices to be arranged directly with Louise. Prices are dependent upon metal used, whether gold or silver. Please contact Louise for more information.
